Since 1964, choirs from all over the world have sung in the arcaded courtyard of Schloss Porcia. The new website brings the call, the registration, the programme and the archive of prize winners into one system the cultural office maintains itself – multilingual, on every device.
The question
How does a website that can only be edited on one single computer become one a team at the cultural office maintains – in time for the next registration deadline?
The way
Registration first: a form instead of a PDF to print, with confirmation and deadlines. Then the full build: competition, history, archive since 1964, ticket orders – in several languages throughout, maintained in a browser-based editorial system.
Why it holds
A registration arrives where it belongs, and the choir can see that it has. The archive of a competition that choirs from more than forty nations have taken part in since 1964 stays reachable – for every choir in its own language.
